Denver and parts of Colorado’s Eastern Plains finally received measurable rain from monsoon thunderstorms moving through the area Wednesday afternoon.
Denver received 0.23 inches of water at Denver International Airport. That’s the first measurable amount in the last 12 days.
Heavy rain fell early Wednesday afternoon near Bailey over to near Conifer in Park and Jefferson counties. Rainfall amounts over an inch an hour occurred with flood warnings having to be posted.
There were also flood advisories or warnings in parts of Colorado’s northern sections, including in Estes Park, Pingree Park and Glen Haven in Larimer County…
