Aurora family pleads for driver to come forward after deadly hit-and-run

AURORA, Colo. (KDVR) – On Tuesday night, an Aurora family held a candlelight vigil in honor of their beloved relative Atanasio Ignacio Galvan, who was killed in a hit-and-run on Monday.

Relatives told FOX31 that Atanasio was hit near the corner of East 16th Avenue and Fulton Street, early om Monday morning.

Aurora Police reported that a call at 2:25 a.m. stated that a person was down in the road, and that the man, later identified as Atanasio Galvan, died at the scene.

The driver drove away, and now, the Galvan family is asking the community to help find the driver…
