Denver City Council expected to hear bill on Boettcher Concert Hall naming rights

The Denver City Council will have a relatively light agenda Monday, but is expected to vote on a $55 million jail healthcare contract and consider a $15 million Colorado Symphony deal that includes control over Boettcher Concert Hall naming rights.

Councilmembers will also get a fresh look at city finances as the Q2 2026 General Fund financial status report is presented. Earlier this year, the Council codified a requirement for a quarterly update, as it did not receive regular budget updates and instead relied on “ad hoc” information from the administration rather than standardized data.

Elsewhere on the agenda, the Council is expected to vote on a $55 million contract with Denver Health and Hospital Authority to deliver healthcare services for people in custody at the Denver County Jail and the Downtown Detention Center…
