A new homeless shelter is coming to Denver, and it’s right on the grave of a former tiny home community.
Just two months ago, members of the Colorado Village Collaborative (CVC) stood teary-eyed at the remnants of the Monroe Tiny Home Village in the Elyria-Swansea neighborhood in north Denver, saying goodbye to the tiny home shelters that stood there for four years. The city immediately struck up plans for a new 400-bed cold-weather homeless shelter.
Residents are perplexed…
