Deion Sanders and his sons were out in Las Vegas participating in the festivities prior to Super Bowl 58. They were joined by a few fellow Buffaloes, including Shedeur Sanders’ longtime QB coach Darrell Colbert Jr., who made the trip as support staff. Everything was good about his arrival, except for one major problem. He was decked out in red. The Colorado cardinal sin was noticed by Coach Prime who called Colbert out immediately.
“What do you play for Nebraska now?” Sanders asked Colbert in a moment caught by Well Off Media .
The “no red” rule never takes a break. Not even at the world’s biggest stage under the neon lights of Las Vegas. It’s clear the Colorado Buffaloes coach has taken the ‘Red Letter’ rivalry to heart. There was also a former Nebraska player before the NFL Honors who approached the Sanders family about last year’s game and was excited about the rematch. Shilo Sanders interjected by asking if that’s what they wanted. It’s a direct reflection of Coach Prime’s leadership and building a winning culture.
