DENVER (KDVR) — A Denver police officer is set to lose his certification after he pleaded guilty to body-slamming a man during the Nuggets’ post-championship celebration last year.
Adam Glasby pleaded guilty on Monday to third-degree assault and was sentenced to two years of probation, according to the Denver District Attorney’s Office.

The conviction is a “POST decertifying offense,” the DA’s office said — meaning Glasby stands to lose his Colorado Peace Officer Standards and Training certification .
The incident happened early on June 13 , after thousands of Denver Nuggets fans had filled the streets to celebrate the team’s historic first championship.
The DA’s office said at the time that Glasby and another officer were working off-duty at a bar on Blake Street when a fight broke out. Glasby was accused of pulling a man from the fight and body-slamming him into the pavement, leaving him unconscious.
