Pat McAfee Makes Major Deion Sanders, Colorado Prediction

The Colorado Buffaloes are looking to return to bowl season for the first time since 2020 under head coach Deion Sanders. Sanders won four games last season after the team won just one game in 2022.

The Buffaloes have stars like quarterback Shedeur Sanders, two-way star Travis Hunter, receiver Jimmy Horn Jr., and others returning in 2024.

The team also added players like former Clemson Tigers offensive lineman Zechariah Owens, former Ohio State Buckeyes running back Dallan Hayden, former Pittsburgh Panthers edge rusher Dayon Hayes, and former Charlotte linebacker Nikhai-Green Hill from the portal.

One person who believed in Colorado was Pat McAfee on “College GameDay.” McAfee stated that if the Buffaloes can come together as a team, they have a real shot at “this thing.” It was unclear what McAfee meant by “this thing,” but the College GameDay member believed in what Sanders is trying to build.

“If Colorado can continue to build on being a team and playing like three phases of football, operating together, I think Colorado has a real shot at this thing going forward,” McAfee said.
