Man dies near 28th and Pearl in Boulder

DENVER ( KDVR ) — Police are investigating a man’s death after he was found unconscious on the sidewalk on Monday, but said no foul play is suspected.

The Boulder Police Department said officers were called to the south side of Pearl Street, just east of 28th Street, at about 5:30 p.m. on Monday for a man on the sidewalk. The caller reported him as unconscious.

Police, firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene. While first responders were on their way, the caller tried to get a response from the man on the sidewalk.

After arrival, first responders administered chest compressions for about 30 minutes before the man was declared dead. His body was transported to the Boulder County Coroner’s Office.

As of Monday night, the man’s death was under investigation but not suspected to be foul play. The agency said there is no risk to the public.
