CSP searching for driver in hit-and-run crash on I-225

DENVER ( KDVR ) — The Colorado State Patrol is looking for a driver involved in a hit-and-run crash on Interstate 225 on Saturday.

At around 11:42 a.m., CSP said troopers were called to a two-car crash on southbound I-225 near Parker Road and the Cherry Creek Reservoir.

Troopers said the two cars collided and one vehicle hit the side wall of the interstate. The driver that stayed on scene suffered minor injuries and did not need to be taken to a local hospital.

CSP is now looking for the second driver who fled following the crash. The patrol has released limited information about the driver who was reportedly in a black sedan.
