Newsweek and Statista have unveiled the 2025 rankings of America’s Best-in-State Hospitals, recognizing 700 top medical facilities across the nation. This year’s rankings were shaped by data from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, the AHA Annual Survey of Hospitals, HCAHPS patient experience surveys, and a voluntary survey on Patient-Reported Outcome Measures, the Newsweek Ranking found.
Colorado’s healthcare system shines with Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver topping the state list, according to the ranking. Close behind is the University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora, followed by CommonSpirit’s Penrose Hospital in Colorado Springs at third. Denver Health Medical Center and UCHealth Poudre Valley Hospital round out the top five, Newsweek found.
The state also boasts AdventHealth Parker, UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies, AdventHealth Porter, Swedish Medical Center, and Good Samaritan Medical Center, securing spots in the top 10.
