The Aurora Police Department needs the public’s help in identifying a woman who died in an auto-pedestrian crash last Monday.
In a post on social media platform X on Saturday night, police officials said they are assisting the Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office in identifying the victim.
The crash, police said, occurred in the early morning hours near E. Mississippi Ave. and S. Elkhart St., just south of the city center. At the scene, a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle.
The victim, who authorities are having trouble identifying, appears to be an Asian woman between ages 20 and 30, 5-foot-4, 137 pounds with a black buzz cut hairstyle, according to police.
Additionally, the woman has several tattoos and was carrying a lighter labeled ‘Coco,’ “which may be a clue to her name or alias,” police said.
Aurora police provided exact details of the victim’s seven tattoos:
Tattoo 1: A black outline tattoo of the Japanese “Yen” symbol under the left eye.
Tattoo 2: A black tattoo of a skull shaped like a spade on the front-central region of the neck.
