HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo (KDVR) — Several Douglas County teenagers are facing charges stemming from reports of a possible robbery turned chase.
On Monday night, Douglas County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a Walgreens near University and Quebec in Highlands Ranch. An employee reported there were three males inside, all wearing black hoodies and black masks, and they believed they were getting robbed. DCSO did not immediately say if the store was actually robbed or not.

Deputies then saw the three individuals wearing black hoodies and black face coverings run out of the store. One was taken into custody right away.
Deputies said another suspect ran into a neighborhood and started jumping fences into the backyards of homes along Amherst Court, including the yard of resident, Lucia Iturralde.
“We have cameras and the ring doorbell, and it went off around 10:45 and the cops were yelling saying ‘Police! Police!’ We were sleeping, so we were like what’s going on, what’s happening?” said Iturralde. “The suspect running through the yard, we’re following our cameras in the front and the cops are yelling, and we’re like, oh my gosh, they have surrounded our house.”
