In Week 12 of the college football season, an undefeated team lost for the first time this season. That team was the BYU Cougars, who entered the weekend in the College Football Playoff conversation and as a favorite in the Big 12 Conference.
However, BYU suffered a crushing loss to Kansas late on Saturday, putting the Big 12 picture into focus.
Now, Colorado and BYU are tied at the top of the conference while Arizona State is closing in, as the Sun Devils prepare to face BYU in Week 13.
The Buffaloes face Kansas and Oklahoma State before a potential Big 12 title game.

“K state loss and Kansas upset BYU!! Colorado controls their own destiny now!! Get in the playoff!!” one fan said .
