DENVER (KDVR) — Colorado’s beloved outdoor venue, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, announced Monday that it was named the 2nd-best attended venue in the U.S., and 4th-best attended venue in the world, according to Billboard Magazine.
The ranking is a repeat of how Billboard Magazine ranked Red Rocks in 2023, still trailing Madison Square Garden in New York City domestically, and trailing the O2 Arena in London and Mexico City’s Auditorio Nacional globally.

Madison Square Garden reported in August that during its 2024 fiscal year, over 6.3 million guests attended over 960 events at the storied venue.
Red Rocks reported about 1.6 million people attended the outdoor venue in 2024, but Billboard Magazine’s chart reporting cutoff date is Oct. 1. The venue said in a release that it will self-report 1.69 million ticket patrons at the venue through the end of the season in November.
On Facebook, the venue shared that it hosted 233 events, which included 198 concerts.
