AURORA A 16-year-old girl was fatally shot Tuesday morning after what police described as a home invasion at the girl’s apartment in west-central Aurora. Officers were called to a Village East neighborhood apartment complex in the 10600 block of East Jewell Avenue at about 6:15 a.m. after reports of a home invasion and shooting, according to Aurora police spokesperson Joe Moylan.
