LAKEWOOD, Colo. (KDVR) — A controversial property development project will move ahead in Lakewood near Belmar Park after a 5-0 vote by the Lakewood Planning Commission on Wednesday.
The Save Belmar Park Inc. group had submitted a petition with nearly 9,000 signatures to stop the proposed 400-unit apartment building from being constructed on the edge of the park.
