DENVER (KDVR) — Highway 285 was closed in both directions between Highway 73 and Log Trail after a deadly crash involving two cars and a delivery vehicle.
The Elk Creek Fire Department said there was a collision between two passenger vehicles and a delivery vehicle just before 9 a.m. on Saturday near Highway 285 and Springs Road. One adult was pronounced dead on the scene, while two other adults were taken to local hospitals.

The roadway was closed for several hours before the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said around 1:37 p.m. that it was reopened.
