DENVER (KDVR) — The Denver Police Department and Metro Denver Crime Stoppers are asking the public to help identify the driver and vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash that resulted in a serious injury.
The crash happened at 7:07 p.m. Thursday at South Downing Street and East Arkansas Avenue.
DPD said an unknown motorist was in a vehicle described as a black sport utility type vehicle that was traveling northbound when it struck a vehicle stopped in traffic. The suspect driver then fled the scene of the crash without stopping or leaving information, the police said.
