19-year-old alleged street racer arrested by Aurora police for June incident

DENVER (KDVR) — Aurora police are continuing their crackdown on street racing in their jurisdiction, announcing Friday that a 19-year-old from Northglenn was arrested in connection with a street racing event on June 22.

Carlo Saucedo-Macias, 19, of Northglenn, was arrested Thursday night and is facing potential charges of vehicular eluding, reckless endangerment, reckless driving, driving without a license, failing to stop at a stop light, unsafe lane changing and driving without license plates.

The Aurora Police Department said the charges stem from a June 22 incident when a silver GMC pickup was seen doing donuts and other reckless driving behavior during what the police agency called an “illegal street racing event” that was in a business parking lot in the 18000 block of East 40th Avenue.
