Colorado State Patrol makes arrests in two dangerous road rage incidents

The Colorado State Patrol has made two arrests on July 9 and July 17 in separate road rage incidents that occurred on E-470 the week before.

The first road rage incident happened on July 6 when troopers responded to a call from someone who had been shot at while driving northbound on E-470 on his way to Denver International Airport. The driver of the suspect vehicle, which was a black BMW SUV, didn’t move over when the victim merged onto E-470. The suspect shot at the victim’s vehicle, then fled. The victim called to report the incident from home, and the suspect was identified by both the victim and E-470 cameras.

Colorado State Patrol identified the BMW and located it on July 17 at the driver’s workplace. The driver, Benjamin C. L. Roberts, was arrested and taken to the Arapahoe County Jail…
