Possible human bone discovered on trail in Denver metro area

An investigation is underway in Colorado’s city of Westminster after the possible discovery of human remains.

According to a report from the local police department, a resident of the area was walking on an open space trail near 122nd Avenue and Park Centre Drive on the afternoon of July 18 when the person stumbled on what appeared to be a possible human bone. Based on the description provided by law enforcement, this appears to be in the area of the city’s Sleigh Hill, potentially near a local school.

At last report, the age of the remains was unknown and a cadaver dog that was brought in to assist with the search had yet to find additional remains…
