University of Colorado Hospital ‘returning to normal’ after postponing non-emergency surgeries

The University of Colorado Hospital has postponed non-emergency surgeries after a non-specified staffing shortage in the sterilization department sparked concerns about having sufficient amounts of clean equipment.

Kelli Christensen, a hospital spokesperson, said Monday that the facility was “returning to normal” and rescheduling procedures postponed last week.
