DENVER (KDVR) — A man suspected of driving under the influence and causing a deadly crash that killed a Golden police officer pleaded not guilty in court on Monday.
Stephen Geer, 43, pleaded not guilty in court to one count of vehicular homicide – DUI, two counts of vehicular assault – DUI, third-degree assault – reckless, and driving under the influence.

The Boulder District Attorney’s Office told FOX31 that Geer’s attorney said on the record during Geer’s Monday hearing that they are considering a plea offer from the district attorney’s office and scheduled a pre-trial conference for Sept. 2.
