Man allegedly used ‘police-like’ lights on SUV to escape traffic on Colorado’s I-25

It’s never fun to get stuck in traffic on Colorado’s I-25 – and one man allegedly went to extreme lengths to escape this travel pain.

According to a press release from the City of Lone Tree Government, 58-year-old Terry Pendleton was recently arrested on charges of impersonating a police officer. Pendleton reportedly had his black Ford Explorer equipped with police-like lights and siren features, an audible siren, and a public address system, with Pendleton allegedly using the vehicle’s lights to maneuver through traffic on I-25.
