LITTLETON, Colo. (KDVR) — Dakota Ridge High School’s Screamin’ Eagles Marching Band is facing a major setback after thieves stole their equipment trailer from the school’s parking lot earlier this month.
The white 2007 S and H trailer decorated with DRHS stickers was last seen between Aug. 6 and 7.
When staff checked the lot, they found the locks had been cut and wheel chocks left behind.

“The trailer is stolen, that can’t be happening, it can’t be real … Why would someone take something away that’s important like that to a program?” said Drum Major Santiago Ramos Arjona.
When band director Cody Kiesling got the news, his first thought was it had to be a mistake.
“My initial thought we have props for our marching band show, and we have certain parents who are designated for those props, and I thought one of them had taken the trailer to use it,” Kiesling said…
