Man allegedly tries hiding fentanyl in Broomfield sidewalk while being arrested

DENVER (KDVR) — One man is facing charges after allegedly trying to hide fentanyl in a sidewalk crack while being arrested.

The Broomfield Police Department said officers were patrolling around the area north of Broadlands Park on Reserve Place due to recent shoplifts when one patrol officer came across a suspicious vehicle.

Around 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, a patrol officer spotted the vehicle in the Safeway parking lot near 144th Avenue and Lowell Boulevard that was registered to a 46-year-old man with an outstanding warrant out of Broomfield County…
