Police deploy new mobile cameras to curb neighborhood speeding

WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. — The Wheat Ridge Police Department has rolled out a new mobile automated speed camera in an effort to curb speeding through the city’s neighborhoods.

In a post on X, police said members of the department’s crash and traffic team will be using the system, along with large roadside signs, as part of an ongoing push to get drivers to “drive through Wheat Ridge like they live here.”
