Denver’s center that aids the homeless is closing, but services are still available

DENVER (KDVR) — Denver’s Aid Center will close on Friday, Sept. 5.

The Assessment, Intake and Diversion Center offers assistance to people experiencing homelessness. It was slated to close earlier this year, but then the city decided to keep it open. Now it is officially closing.

Property owners use chirping motion sensors to prevent loitering by unhoused individuals

People who showed up at the AID Center on 14th Avenue and Elati Street on Wednesday were told the news.
