EDGEWATER, Colo — A man was sentenced to decades in prison after he pleaded guilty to charges related to a 2023 homicide in Edgewater.
On Sept. 3, Kyle Valdez, 31, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and two counts of second-degree assault. He was sentenced to 43 years for the murder charge and 16 years for the other counts.
