Denver Council agenda: $20M for shelters, $1.5M police settlement

On Tuesday, the Denver City Council will consider close to $19 million in funding across six resolutions tied to the city’s homeless shelter operations and an additional $1.4 million in associated transportation services.

If approved, Council Resolutions 25-1373 and 25-1374 would add $10.3 million to existing agreements with The Denver Rescue Mission to provide programmatic services and operate two low-barrier shelters in District 8 and in District 4.
