A Colorado driver responsible for the DUI crash that killed a police officer in 2024 has pleaded guilty.

Stephen Geer pleaded guilty on Tuesday, Oct. 14 to Vehicular Homicide – DUI in the death of Golden, Colo. police officer Evan Dunn, as well as to Vehicular Assault – DUI, the First Judicial District Attorney said in a press release.

On Nov. 6, 2024, Dunn and another officer were stopped at the scene of a crash on Highway 58 when they were struck by a car. Dunn was killed while the other officer sustained serious injuries…
