DENVER (KDVR) — A Cherry Creek School District bus without passengers collided with a car near Cherry Creek Reservoir on Friday morning.
The Denver Police Department said that based on preliminary information, a black car was making a left-hand turn, appeared to not have a signal to turn, and was hit by a bus heading straight. The bus crashed near the intersection of East Union Avenue and DTC Boulevard. This is in Denver’s Hampden South neighborhood, just west of Cherry Creek Reservoir.

SkyFOX flew over the area, where a bus, which is labeled as the Cherry Creek School District’s, was partially off the road, and the front end of the vehicle was separated from the bus. The front end of another vehicle was smashed in the middle of the intersection.
FOX31’s Courtney Fromm was on the scene, where she reported that several other cars were also involved in the crash.
Police said the bus didn’t have any passengers, and it’s unknown how serious the injuries are to the car driver. The bus driver didn’t appear to have injuries…
