Jefferson County, CO – A Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputy clocked a motorcycle speeding at 116 miles per hour in a 45 mph zone near South Kipling Parkway and West Bowles Avenue, authorities said Friday.
According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, the Traffic Unit deputy stopped the rider after detecting the high-speed violation earlier this week. The driver was cited and is expected to appear before a judge to face charges related to reckless driving.
