Colorado Attempted Homicide Suspect Arrested in North Platte

NORTH PLATTE, Neb.— Troopers with the Nebraska State Patrol, with assistance from Homeland Security Investigators, have arrested two people after searching for a man wanted in connection with an attempted homicide. The arrests occurred Thursday in North Platte.

Thursday morning, NSP received information that a man with an active arrest warrant for attempted homicide was believed to be in North Platte. The warrant was connected to an investigation in Colorado.

At approximately 12:00 p.m., troopers located the suspect’s vehicle, a Ford F-150, as it was traveling on residential streets in North Platte. The vehicle came to a stop outside a house near West 6th Street and North Emory Avenue. At that time, troopers contacted the driver and placed him into custody without incident.
