They shared this information on National Injury Prevention Day, November 18. In Colorado, 75.2% of intentional firearm deaths are suicides. They also reported that one in five teens can access a loaded gun without adult permission in less than an hour.
The partners stress the need for secure firearm storage to prevent unintentional injuries, especially among children.
