El Burrito y El Burrote will come from a mother–daughter team that’s very excited for their next entrepreneurial journey, according to Westword.
Yamilex Cruz and her mom, Maria Rojas, are the founders of the Latina women-owned business. Cruz has spent her entire working life in the food industry, and the two previously owned an eatery in Westminster and a food truck. Rojas, from Mexico, and is currently a chef at the Monarch Casino buffet.
