Golden Outpost, Hayride suddenly closes after owner’s brain tumor diagnosis

DENVER (KDVR) — A little over a year after opening, a tavern in Golden announced it is closed indefinitely after one of the owners was diagnosed with a brain tumor.

The Golden Outpost and Golden Hayride announced in a post on Facebook on Dec. 4 that the business is now closed and all upcoming events are canceled after one of the owners, Stacy Fowler, was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor.
