Flozell Beasley, 73, was convicted by a federal grand jury in January of the robberies, which occurred between May and July 2023. Beasley was convicted of four counts of bank robbery and one count of robbery affecting interstate commerce. He now faces 210 months in federal prison, followed by three years of supervised release.
“If you’re thinking of robbing a bank in Colorado, do yourself a favor and find something else to do,” said United States Attorney for the District of Colorado Peter McNeilly in a release. “We will catch you; we will prosecute you; and you will spend a long time in federal prison.”
