Man Rescued After Climbing 100-Foot Sculpture in Denver Tech Center

A Colorado man is safe after spending nearly ten hours atop a 100-foot-tall sculpture in the Denver Tech Center.

The man climbed up the DTC Identity Monument at around 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday, December 9. He did not come down until 2:35 a.m. Wednesday, according to Megan Copenhaver, spokesperson for the City of Greenwood Village.

He appeared to be suffering from a mental health crisis, Copenhaver says, adding that his motivation for climbing the sculpture is unknown…
