DENVER (KDVR) — Interstate 70 westbound is closed Monday afternoon in Deer Trail east of Denver after a crash involving two semitrailers, according to the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office said no one reported any injuries. The closure is expected to last several hours, but because the crash happened between the off- and on-ramps, traffic is being diverted off the interstate at Deer Trail and right back on.
Photos shared by the sheriff’s office shows one of the semitrailers was ripped open, spilling what looked like paper towels all over the interstate.
