DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) – A man has been sentenced after pleading guilty to an armed robbery in Castle Rock.
According to the 23rd Judicial District Attorney’s Office, Octavio Alan Rivas Morales, 36, was accused of entering the Independent Bank on North Wilcox Street on Sept. 10, 2024, and demanding money.
The DA said he brandished a gun and fired a round into the floor before leaving with approximately $2,000 in cash. One of the bank tellers reportedly recognized Rivas Morales, and he was arrested in Johnstown the next day…
