The man, identified with cognitive impairment, has been missing since New Year’s Eve, causing the authorities to express serious concerns for his safety due to his mental health condition and lack of essential medication, according to the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office. Birdsall, last seen on December 31 at around 2 p.m., departed from the Abbey Road Assisted Living Facility at 8155 S. Newport Way in Centennial without a car or cell phone, potentially complicating search efforts.
