Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office Seeks Public’s Help in Search for Missing Elderly Man with Cognitive Impairment

The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office has issued an urgent plea to the public on social media, seeking assistance in locating a missing 75-year-old man, David Birdsall. The man, identified with cognitive impairment, has been missing since New Year’s Eve, causing the authorities to express serious concerns for his safety due to his mental health condition and lack of essential medication, according to the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office. Birdsall, last seen on December 31 at around 2 p.m., departed from the Abbey Road Assisted Living Facility at 8155 S. Newport Way in Centennial without a car or cell phone, potentially complicating search efforts.

In their online post, the sheriff’s office stressed the urgency of the situation, asking anyone with information on Birdsall’s whereabouts not hesitate and immediately contact their Dispatch Center at 303-795-4711.
