DENVER (KDVR) — A woman and a man have been sentenced for the death of an infant who died after consuming methamphetamine from a baby bottle, according to the First Judicial District Attorney’s Office.
The district attorney’s office has announced that on Thursday, Lisa Johnson, 31, was sentenced to 25 years in a state prison, and Alexander Avila, 33, was sentenced to 18 years after both pleaded guilty to charges related to the death of Johnson’s 2-month-old, Ezra.
