COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (KDVR) — Members of a local motorcycle community are calling for a traffic light or stop sign at a busy Commerce City intersection, after a collision claimed the life of a wife and mother.
Friends and family said that last week, 38-year-old Kala Sampson was riding her motorcycle when she was hit and killed after colliding with a vehicle in the intersection of East 104th Avenue and Brighton Road.

“I feel like the accident occurred due to the fact that there’s no traffic signal,” said best friend, Ashley Lopez. “And people aren’t necessarily watching out for motorcycles.”
