Man sentenced for fatal shooting at Wheat Ridge cemetery in 2024

WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. — A man will spend nearly two decades in prison for a shooting in a Wheat Ridge cemetery that killed another man in 2024.

Ryan Trujillo-Falcon, 24, was sentenced on Friday to 16 years in the Department of Corrections. He pleaded guilty to second-degree assault that caused injury with a deadly weapon and reckless manslaughter in November in a plea agreement, according to court records.
