A Texas man was found guilty Wednesday of assaulting two women in the bathroom of a Highlands Ranch home in 2024.
Zebediah Scales, 39, was convicted on four assault counts for beating up his girlfriend and her friend in the bathroom of his girlfriend’s home after accusing her of cheating on him on Nov. 2, 2024, according to a Wednesday news release from the 23rd Judicial District Attorney’s Office. He faces two to 16 years in prison for the crime.
Scales has a criminal history that includes prior convictions for assault, assault with a deadly weapon and multiple drug offenses, according to the release. He fled to Texas while awaiting trial in the case but was arrested by local police and extradited back to Douglas County…
