These Colorado areas could see over a foot of snow this weekend

DENVER (KDVR) — A snowstorm is heading into Colorado with some areas expected to see between 10 inches and over a foot of snow.

The Pinpoint Weather team is tracking a storm that will keep temperatures below freezing for several days and bring anywhere from a few inches to a foot of snow into Colorado. Snow has already fallen in Colorado by Friday morning, and it’s expected to continue to fall until Sunday.

These Colorado areas could see the most snow

The Denver metro is expected to get only 1 to 2 inches, but other areas across Colorado are expecting much more. The foothills could see 2 to 5 inches, while the high country could see 5 to 11 inches.
