The Summit County Coroner’s Office has released the name of the man who died after a snowboarding crash at Keystone Resort on Jan. 19.
Coroner Amber Flenniken wrote in an email that the man was 32-year-old Aurora resident William Marcus Hunnicutt. The Summit County Sheriff’s Office had previously stated the snowboarder was a man from the Front Range.
The Sheriff’s Office’s news release about the crash stated Hunnicutt was riding with friends the afternoon of Jan. 19 on Lower Go Devil, a black-diamond run near the Mountain House West base area, when he crashed.
