Aurora police are asking for the public’s help to find a 12-year-old girl who did not return home Thursday afternoon. The child, identified by police as Ro’Yanna, is about 5 feet, 1 inch tall and roughly 150 pounds. Officers have released a photo and description in hopes that someone recognizes her.

As reported by 9News, the Aurora Police Department said Ro’Yanna, a student at Mrachek Middle School, was last seen wearing a navy blue Mrachek Titans sweatshirt with a white “M” and a green lightning bolt, blue jeans, and a white shirt with black dots and a red cherry design. Police said she was carrying a pink backpack when she was last seen.
