Denver restaurant reopens hours after burglary; chef cites family values as source of strength

DENVER — Adobo Restaurant & Bar on Federal Boulevard reopened on Wednesday, hours after burglars broke in and stole the cash register and safe, marking the third burglary at the location in nearly five years.

Chef Blaine Baggao said burglars broke through the door between 3:36 a.m. and 3:40 a.m. on Wednesday. Despite the loss, which included revenue earned during the National Western Stock Show, Baggao reopened the restaurant later that day.

Denver Police officers responded to a call for a burglary at approximately 9:19 a.m. in the 3100 block of North Federal Boulevard, according to the Denver Police Department. The burglary took place overnight, and the case is under investigation…
